2008
Financial Market Outlook
Jan Longeval,
Managing Director, Bank Degroof
2008 has had an
extremely difficult start as the credit crisis has started to bite
the global economy.
-
Are we in a new bear market or is this a
great buying opportunity?
-
Will Europe be drawn into recession
because of America's trouble?
-
Will emerging markets save the day?
-
Are corporate bonds attractive again or
are government bonds the only place to hide? Cash better than
bonds or is this shortsighted?
-
How are hedge funds holding up in this
environment?
-
Has the dollar's slide much further to
go or will the second half bring a comeback of the greenback?
Volatility is both a source of risk and of
great opportunity. Jan Longeval will present bank Degroof's views on
these issues. |

but also and more specifically the sector allocation and the stock selection that
comes with it.
Jan will clarify this approach and explain how
certain themes came about and how they were implemented in the European
